Rave-Ing Mad 2024 was a resounding success! We saw a slightly larger crowd than last year, and everyone who attended had a blast, eagerly anticipating next year's event.
The addition of new lights, new sound, a modified fog machine, and updated decks significantly enhanced the ambiance and sound quality. Laser and light patterns were visible through a light fog that was shot into the air with a powerful fan providing a great haze effect.
All the DJs arrived punctually, bringing with them an air of anticipation and excitement as they prepared to rock the house with their electrifying beats and music selections. The atmosphere was charged with energy and enthusiasm, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
The seamless transitions between different DJ sets, each bringing their unique style and sound to the mix, kept the dance floor packed and the energy levels high throughout the night. From pulsating beats to melodic tunes, the music created a sonic tapestry that captivated the audience and fueled their passion for the dance.
As the night progressed, the crowd was treated to a surprise set by L3XI3 at 2AM, a moment that took the party to a whole new level. The audience was thrilled by the unexpected performance.
Overall, the night was a resounding success, with the DJs delivering top-notch performances. It was a night to remember, filled with unforgettable moments and shared experiences that united everyone in a collective celebration of music and joy.
The event proceeded smoothly without any issues. The sound system operated perfectly all night without any speaker malfunctions as seen in the previous year. There were no police interventions, and each DJ's music seamlessly played on the new Denon decks.
Looking Ahead to Next Year:
Increase Attendance: We're aiming for an even bigger crowd, targeting at least 75 attendees for next year. To achieve this, we'll start advertising RM 2025 earlier to ensure it’s on everyone’s calendar.
Enhanced Lighting Programming: Although we didn’t have enough time to perfect the lighting this year, I’m excited to announce that I’ve since perfected beat detection in our lighting software. This upgrade will take our lighting effects to the next level.
Additional Lighting:Â We plan to add more visual effects, including another beam laser, additional moving head lights, and par lights for enhanced backlighting.
Expanded Art and Activities:Â The interactive chalk art on the floor has been a hit for the past two events. Next year, we aim to elevate this experience with a large canvas, UV reactive paints, and more interactive art activities.
Family Friendly: After two years of restricting entry to those aged 21 and above, we are contemplating opening the event to a younger audience. There have been no instances of inappropriate behavior from any of our attendees. Despite having only one stage this year, we have enlarged the camping zones to ensure a peaceful environment where children can sleep while the event is ongoing. This should allow a lot of our potential guests that couldn't get away from their families to attend next year.
